Fairy Tale High @ Wal-Mart

Earlier this morning at Wal-Mart I found a new set of dolls called Fairy Tale High. These dolls are priced at $18.When I saw them i was all like "ooooh these are kind neat and where is a ethnic doll!" But sadly there are none yet!

From a glance they have similar bodies to Winx Club dolls. They are articulated at the knee, wrist, and elbow.
Here are all the dolls offered in the line

Alice from Wonderland, Belle from Beauty & the Beast, and Sleeping Beauty.

 Cinderella

 TinkerBell and Rapunzel
Snow White and the Little Mermaid
Back Box Art
I also found their website here!
I'm not sure if I will be getting one but if I do Alice be my top pick!

  1. Love the clothes. Really disappointing to see they left out the only AA Disney character, Tiana. :(

    1. They left out all the ethnic dolls but the first one they are going to do is pocohontas if you watch their youtube video you will see Pocohantas at 2:37. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NX681mBuVNk

    2. Thanks for the pics Jay. These are not Disney licensed characters, they are based on traditional folk and fairy tales so they can't do a Princess Tiana. They could do a black frog princess but she would have to have a different name.

These are clones of Mattel's upscale "Ever After High" dolls that retail for about $36. Ever After High is a spin off from Monster High that started with the character C.A. Cupid. There are no ethnic characters in this line yet either but you can view their website here:

    3. Hey Limbe dolls I was kind of wondering about that since disney owned the rights to most of those girls but as for a girl of color in this line the only one i have seen is pocohontas and they will probably do her in the second wave. Hopefully the would turn maybe red riding hood as a girl of color. As for EAH i think Briar wood daughter of Pinocchio is the girl of color but the havent released her yet either.

  2. If you want an doll of color...contact the company. I just contacted Hobby Lobby because they don't carry 1:12 dolls of color. They just added a line that includes several AA dolls, but they only sell the Caucasian ones for some reason. I have someone from corporate looking into it.

    1. When I was watching their youtube video I saw someone comment about that they said "there would be more to come" so im not sure if they will bring a characters of different color. That is a good idea i will give it a try.

  4. They are like wingless Winx. I REALLY like all their clothing. I'm sure I'll never pay full price for one, but I'm quite taken with the Snow White.
